One Email at a Time

Our comeback will be accomplished because we will have built and wired a Republican community, powered it with state of the art technology and mobilized it one email at a time.

We must learn from the Democrats’ success in 2008 and create a virtual community to carry our message across the nation. Except our virtual community won’t be organized around hate, the way the left has fueled its movement. It will be organized around principle, and a determination to not allow the Democrat’s special interest feeding frenzy to go unchecked, or their drive to rewrite our constitution and refashion our culture to go unchallenged.

We must harness every tool of the digital age to fund our campaigns, communicate our ideas and mobilize our supporters. I’ve embraced these tools and put them to work as a state party chair. I blog and Twitter, and Facebook. I understand how communities are built and nurtured on the web and I know how to lead our comeback online.

We will not sit idly by while the left co-opts our young people into service without a challenge. We will craft a message that reaches young people and presses them into service for our vision of America. I am inspired by the efforts of the team at “RebuildtheParty.com”. These young people wasted no time in leading the way on rebuilding our party through emerging e-technologies. We must reward that kind of innovation and invite those bright young minds to help lead the way as we move forward.

It is not enough that the national party is using state of the art e-technology. We must help our state party organizations to learn and utilize these resources as well. We must conduct workshops to teach our state leadership and help them identify the hardware and software that can help them succeed.
